Hariyali Curry




My family prefer to have a  curry dish (preferably new) at dinner time. And guess what I have another dish to share which was a little different from regular Curry's. The dish is unique in many aspects and is very tasty. I experimented with broccoli and believe me it worked very well for us. You can serve this dish with hot chapatti, plain paratha or poori.  Make it as mild or spicy as you like. So lets get started...


Preparation time:10min
Cooking time:12 to 15 min

Ingredients:

Small Broccoli - 1
Boiled baby potato - 10 to 12
Tomato -1(medium)
Cumin seed - 1 tablespoon
Ginger & Garlic paste-1tablespoon
Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
Green chili ( as per taste)
Salt ( as per taste)
Cumin powder - 1 tablespoon
Chili powder - 1 tablespoon or as per  taste
Oil


Method:

Boiled broccoli in a  microwave for 6 min at high power and grind it to make a smooth paste,keep it a side.
Heat oil in  a pan and add cumin seed,once it start sparkling then add chopped tomato and green chili ,saute it for a min
Then add ginger garlic paste and salt,cooked it until tomato become soft .
Add potato ,mix it well then add all the dry spices and saute it for a minute
Add broccoli paste in it and mix it well.
Add water for gravy, wait for a boil 
Then Cover and simmer for 10  minutes.
Garnish with fresh coriander and 1 or 2 fresh green chillies and serve.

Broccoli bhujia





Hello food lovers today I am going to share with you a very healthy and tasty recipe which is made with very few ingredients. The recipe I am talking about today is broccoli bhujia, this is a simple and delicious dry dish which you can easily give it to your children or your husband in their lunch box.  If you don’t like broccoli then you can make this with cauliflower also. Try this and let me know what you think about it. So let’s get started


Preparation time: 5min
Cooking time: 10 to 12 min


Ingredients:

Broccoli – 1
Large Potato – 1
Gradated paneer
Salt
Turmeric
Cumin seed – 1 tablespoon
Green chilli
Red chilli powder (optional)
Oil


Methods:
·         Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seed, allow spluttering then add green chilli, chopped potato, chopped broccoli and  Saute it for 2 to 3 min.
·         Add salt and turmeric powder, mix well. Cover and cook in medium to slow flame until it is half cooked takes around 5-7 minutes in slow flame, stir in intervals.
·         When it is about 90 % cooked, add grated paneer, and mix well. Cook until it gets fully cooked.  Off the flame.
·         Serve it with hot paratha or chapattis.

Cashew nut loaf bread: (5 ingredients)





Hello everyone today I am going to share with you a very simple but very delicious and soft loaf bread recipe. This is perfect for even those who love to do baking but are struggling to make an impression. I enjoy the cake slices with tea or coffee with family and friends. My daughter loved this which made it even more special to me.

Preparation time – 5min
Cooking time – 30 to 35min

Ingredients:
Egg -1
Self-rising flour- 1 cup
Condense milk – 1 cup
Cashew nut paste- 1 cup
Melted Butter-1/2 cup
Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon (optional)

(Note: soak cashewnut in a water for overnight and grind it. I like the paste to be little coarse which gives a good texture and taste to the cake.)

Method
·         Preheat your oven at 180 degree
·         Prepare a loaf tray by greasing and lining with baking paper and keep it a side
·         In a large mixing bowl, beat together the egg and sugar until you get a soft consistency
·         Add cashew nut paste and condense milk and beat it well.
·         Pour the mixture into tray and bake in the centre of oven for about 30 to 35 min or until golden and risen.
·         Turn the bread out of the tins and leave to cool completely on a wire rack. For best results, remove the baking paper a few minutes after the bread has cooled.
      Cut into a thick slices and serve it with tea or coffee.

Almond Loaf Bread



Hello everyone today I am going to share with you a very simple and easy loaf bread recipe
which will become your favourite once you take a bite of it because it is moist, tender and
flavoured with almond. Your friends and family and especially children will going to love it
and you’ll make it again and again .So let’s get started

Preparation time: 5min
Cooking time: 30 to 35 min
 

Ingredients:
Butter – ½ cup
Powder sugar- 1 cup
Self-rising flour – 1 cup
Egg – 3
Almond powder- 2cup
Cream – ½ cup
Milk – ½ cup
Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon

Method
Preheat your oven at 180 degree
Place a baking sheet in loaf pan and keep it a side
In the bowl of your electric mixer, or with a hand mixer beat a butter and egg together until soft

 Add sugar and vanilla extract and beat it until light and fluffy.
Then alternatively add flour ,almond, cream and   milk
Transfer the batter in a loaf pan and  bake for about 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into a bread  just comes out clean
 Remove from oven and let it to cool completely.
Cut into a thick slices and serve it with tea or coffee.
